Wei Xiang
Professor Wei Xiang, Electronic Systems and
Internet of Things Engineering, College of Science and
Engineering, James Cook University, AUSTRALIA, he got the
Ph.D. degree in telecommunications engineering from the
University of South Australia in 2004.
He is currently Foundation Professor and Head
of Discipline Internet of Things at James Cook University,
Australia. He is a Fellow of the IET and an elected Fellow
of Engineers Australia. He received the TNQ Innovation Award
in November 2016. He has been awarded several prestigious
fellowship titles. He was named a Queensland International
Fellow by the Queensland Government of Australia, an
Endeavour Research Fellow by the Commonwealth Government of
Australia, a Smart Futures Fellow by the Queensland
Government of Australia, and a JSPS Invitational Fellow
jointly by the Australian Academy of Science and Japanese
Society for Promotion of Science. He is the Vice Chair of
the IEEE Northern Australia Section.
2. Dr. Chance M. Glenn, Sr.
Dr. Chance M. Glenn, Professor and Dean,
College of Engineering, Technology, and Physical Sciences,
Alabama A&M University, 4900 Meridian Street North Normal,
Alabama 35762, USA.
Resume: Chance Glenn obtained his B.S. degree
in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland at
College Park, and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees, also in
Electrical Engineering, from the Johns Hopkins University.
He was on the staff of the U.S. Army Research Laboratory for
a number of years, and held several positions in industry,
in addition to founding a company of his own. He joined RIT
in 2003 as an Associate Professor in the Department of
Electrical, Computer, and Telecommunications Engineering
Technology in the College of Applied Science and Technology.
Currently, he is Director of the William G. McGowan Center
for Telecommunications Innovation and Collaborative Research
leading projects in digital signal processing,
communications and radio frequency, and digital multimedia.

Organized the industrial advisory board for
the ET department, 2010, (UNIVERSITY and Member, St. Joseph
Chamber of Commerce leadership committee,
COMMUNITY) and Organized an industrial advisory board for
the MWSC MET program, 1998-2003. He Setup articulations
between the MET program at MWSC and other programs
at secondary vocational schools, 1998-2013. Coordinated for
the hosting of the Northwest Missouri Area Industrial
Technology day (IT day), 2015-2016.

Changyuan Yu
Dr. Changyuan Yu joined Dept. of Electrical
and Computer Engineering, National Univ. of Singapore (NUS)
in 12/2005. He has founded and led the Photonic System
Research Group in NUS since then. He has supervised 5
postdoc research fellows and 15 PhD students (7 graduated)
in his group. He is also a joint senior scientist with
A*STAR Institute for Infocomm Research (I2R), and an
investigator of National University of Singapore Suzhou
Research Institute (NUSRI). He received B.S. in Applied
Physics and B. Economics in Management from Tsinghua Univ.,
China in 1997, M.S. in Electrical and Computer Engineering
from the Univ. of Miami, USA in 1999, and Ph.D. in
Electrical Engineering from the Univ. of Southern
California, USA in 2005. His research focuses on photonic
devices, subsystems, and optical fiber communication and
sensor systems. Dr. Yu has authored/co-authored 1 US
patent, 6 book chapters and over 240 research papers on the
peer reviewed journals and the prestigious conferences (39
invited, including OFC2012 in USA). He has served in
technical program committee or organizing committee for 50+
international conferences (including OFC2014-2016). His
group won 6 best paper awards in conferences, and also the
championship in biomedical area in the 3rd China Innovation
and Entrepreneurship Competition (out of 10,000+
competitors) in 2014
